Here is a snippet of a comic I am doing. I got inspired and I wanted to practice with my new computer to see how far I can stay on this project.
As you can tell from the title, it is a Star Wars fan comic that is set three years before the events in The Phantom Menace. You follow this young Iridonian Zabrak woman rise up from humble beginnings to universal stardom but not without “assistant” from a mysterious ghost that plagues her theater.
I have been a fan of Star Wars since I was a wee girl and that includes the Prequel trilogy. Say all you want about them but they are a part of George Lucas’ vision, they set the events of the Originals, and I love them! However, One of the issues I do notice in the Prequels had were that with a big mind like G.L. its hard to cram your story in 3, two-hour films. Good thing we have the Clone Wars TV show to expand and explore his visions thoroughly!
Also, I like that they brought back and work Darth Maul into the show. If there was one thing I have to complain about the Prequels is that Darth Maul should not have been sliced off in half and left for dead in the first Episode. Rather, I would have love to see Darth Maul as the main villain throughout the prequels with Count Dooku and General Grievous as his lackeys so the Jedi believe he is the Sith Lord but in reality it he’s apprentice to the real one, Darth Sideous.
